CTG Brasil is a reference in the Brazilian energy generation sector having successfully achieved ISO certification to four different standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 55001).
We are proud to have successfully certified one of the largest hydropower within the country. Certification is an endorsement to emphasize our commitment to excel in operations, safety and risk analysis based on a strong management model to support sustainable development.
Operational Excellence
We currently hold four international certifications that shall be renewed annually according to ISO standards (International Organization for Standardization) requirements. These four certifications are valid to our fourteen plants besides any corporate processes related to the operations, maintenance, general management and energy sales. The benefits of gaining certification are significant for either operations and commercial departments that take advantage of best practices and continuous improvement processes in place as well as having access to business opportunities that may otherwise not be available before certification.
Certification scope
As scope of our certification, we can mention:
- Operation, Maintenance, Administration and Commercialization of Energy from CTG Brasil’s Hydropower Plants;
- Operation management (Systemic & Local) and maintenance of electromechanical assets and dams, in HPPs and SHPP operated by CTG Brasil.
Integrated management system
Our Integrated Management System (SGI) ensures interaction between all departments and company processes as a support tool to define and monitor our performance indicators, promote continuous improvement of the various processes based on ISO standards definitions. The aim is to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes, simplify and optimize management, promote stakeholder satisfaction and engagement and ensure a sustainable business.

The Integrated Management System Policy establishes guidelines for process innovation and improvement. It’s linked to CTG Brasil purpose and values, backing all environmental, health & safety, and people development normative and corporate processes implementation as well as compliance with the legal framework.
